The other night, we fed Hannah a whole thing of peaches but she was still acting hungry. So her mean father decided to try giving her squash again, even though she hates it. But this gave me the chance to get a video of the hilarious faces she makes when we feed it to her. Unfortunately, this website will not let me upload it! Argh! It's frustrating me. But here are a couple of pictures instead. Hopefully I'll be able to get it to work soon.
That last picture is classic.
ReplyDeleteBaby food squash is really bitter. You might try making it fresh. If you use butternut squash just peel it, dice it, steam it and puree it in a blender with just enough water to get it to blend. Ready to use or you can pour it into ice cube trays and freeze and use as needed. The one time I fed Kimberlee jarred baby food she was starving and ate it, it was squash or carrots or something that should have been on the sweet side, and she just shook and shuddered after each bite! It was hysterical and sad at the same time.
