Swing

Our new house came with a totally awesome swing set. Unfortunately it didn't come with a baby swing, so we went to Lowes and bought one. I'm so glad we did! Hannah loves it. It's so nice to be able to spend some time outside every day without having to go anywhere. And she likes it so much that even when she's super cranky it cheers her up, which is always a plus.

Our little musical prodigy- continued

Hannah LOVES the piano. She loves to listen to Dan play, especially if she gets to sit in his lap while he plays. But she also loves to sit and play the piano. She sits and plays long after most kids would get bored, which is crazy because she's not even 9 months old yet. It is so fun to watch her; she's such a little lady about it. She does the typical banging thing, but she also uses one finger and tries to play like Daddy. We need to get her into piano lessons!

Moving in

This week has been absolutely crazy with moving in and trying to unpack and getting the living room set up how we want it. Our new living room is kind of a weird shape and size and gave us a bit of a headache at first, but I think we got it figured out. Hannah had a little bit of trouble with the transition. She was very grouchy and clingy for a few days, but thankfully she got over it quickly and seems to like the new house. She had fun helping me and my mom unpack all of her clothes and set up her room.

SO BIG

I can't believe how BIG Hannah is- not how old she is, although that's crazy too, but how physically big. You always hear people say that kids grow up too fast and that if you blink you might miss it, but I never realized just how true it is. Take a look at this:

More Easter pictures

During the festivities, Dan and I went outside and took some pictures with Hannah and they turned out really cute! Of course, now Dan has an over inflated ego when it comes to his picture taking ability, but oh well. I love him anyway.

Easter Part Two

After church, we had dinner with Dan's family. Hannah loved playing with her cousins... probably because they kept feeding her.

Easter Part One

My mom made Hannah a beautiful Easter dress. When I was growing up she learned to smock, and I wore smocked dresses for years. Isn't it pretty?

Moving

As I said in the last post, we bought a house! We close tomorrow and I'm super excited. I can't wait to move in! It's been such a crazy experience, though. We were NOT looking to buy a house by any means. Our lease isn't supposed to be up until the end of June! A couple who live in our ward received a job offer they couldn't refuse and were selling their house at a loss, which meant we could afford it. And I LOVE this house. It is beautiful and has everything I want in a house. I'll have to post pictures of the house, but that will have to wait till we get moved in and I get a chance to post all of the cute Easter pictures I have. But until then, here's Hannah get packed and ready to go to the new house.

She wasn't too impressed with having a hat on her head, but it was so cute! I love these pictures because you can really see the color of her eyes. They are such a beautiful deep blue. Since I forgot to do it a couple of weeks ago, here are some of the highlights that have happened in the last month and a half. Hannah now has two bottom teeth. They both came out on the same day. She's also in the process of cutting one of her top teeth. She has gotten really good at army crawling. She can crawl on hands and knees for a few steps, but she gets frustrated and goes back to army crawling. Also, we bought a house! We will be moving in this weekend and we're super excited.

Big girl bath

My little girl is getting so big. Last month we started giving her baths in the tub instead of her baby bath. At first she was not impressed, but she got used to it and now she totally loves it. She especially likes the bath toys we bought for her.
