Hannah LOVES to sing! I really wish I had a video to show you, but the little stinker is camera shy and it's nigh impossible to get good videos of her. Her two favorite songs are "Popcorn Popping" and the ABC song. She knows the motions and some of the words to Popcorn, and she knows almost her entire alphabet. Actually, with enough prompting she can say almost every letter, but my favorite is when she sings it to herself. She says "abcdefg, qrstuv, wz, now I know my abcs! Abcdefg... and goes through it again. Too cute. I always sing to her to put her to bed, and she knows all of those songs and likes to help me sing them. If you haven't realized this yet, Hannah has exceptional verbal skills. It is seriously freaky. Everywhere we go we get comments about it. Her pediatrician, the nursery leaders at church, even random people we meet in the store- everyone is impressed by her. She can say just about any word she wants to say, and she's working on full sentences. She is getting really good at 2-3 word sentences like "call Daddy!" and "Where's the Mommy?" She asked her first question long before she really started to talk. I've been trying to remember her first word, but other than Mama and Dada, the very first thing I remember her saying is "What's that?" It is still her favorite thing to say. She started attending nursery at church on the first of January. She did well as long as we were in there with her, but had a hard time being left, especially since she has never been left with anyone other than family. Ever. But finally this Sunday she got over it. She cried for a minute when Dan first dropped her off, but one of the leaders held her for a minute and off she went. It seems like there's so much more to tell. I could brag about her all day. She is such a great kid. She is so fun and so sweet. She recently started saying "Love you," and it is the best thing ever. Dan and I seriously can't get enough of her. She is such a blessing to us and (most of the time) a joy to have around.

18 months
I am still backlogged on pictures, but I'll take and talk about Hannah at 18 months before I forget it all. The terrible 2s are creeping up on us. We can feel it coming. The temper tantrums have commenced. On the whole they're not too horrible or frequent... yet. But they sure are lots of fun... not. She is very opinionated and stubborn. I have no idea where she got either of those traits. Oh, wait. Now I remember. It's all my husband's fault. Hahaha. She is starting to do some pretend play. She doesn't do this very much though. She's far more interested in reading books. Speaking of which, she would rather read books than do just about anything. At the end of every day, I pick up every single book we own, and only 1 or 2 toys.. if that. And she has memorized most of her favorite books. Seriously. She knows what each page says and will "read" them out loud to herself.
