Water Slide

My Mother-in-law just got this crazy awesome water slide for the grand kids. It's like a bounce house, a kiddie pool, and a water slide all rolled into one. It's awesome. And the kids, obviously, love it. They are pretty hilarious to watch. These were taken the first day they played on it. I think she's already gotten her money's worth, and she's only had it for like two weeks.

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day, we went to my Sister-in-law's parents house. They have a pool and hot tub and the food is always amazing. We had a lot of fun. It was the first time they had taken my niece, Emily, into the pool, so it was fun to be there for that. Hannah had a blast, but stupid me forgot to bring the floaties I had bought. Argh. It was really frustrating because she really wanted to swim on her own. We took Clara into the pool with us, too. She was so cute in her little swim suit! She really liked it, but she got cold pretty quickly so she didn't stay in for long. After swimming we went inside and ate ourselves to death. The food is always good when we go there, but everyone outdid themselves this time. YUM!

Ring Around the Rosy

Hannah LOVES to play Ring around the rosy. Her cousin, Leah, taught it to her the last time they were visiting from Ireland and Hannah has been obsessed ever since. She plays it by herself, she plays it with her stuffed animals in her crib, and she plays it with anyone and everyone she can talk into it. She still sings it at least once a day and it's been several months. She's such a cutie.

The other day I got Clara dressed for the day and put her on the bed. She was so adorable I had to take some pictures. And then I had to get Hannah in on the action. She's a lot more difficult to work with, but I actually got a few cute ones, so I was proud of myself. I love these pictures. I didn't realize until I put them on the computer just how many funny faces Clara was making, but they're pretty awesome. The other funny thing I noticed is that in almost every picture they're both doing the same thing with their arms. Too cute.

Abby's birthday party

My niece, Abby just turned 6. It's crazy. When I met her for the first time, she was only about 8 months older than Hannah is now. I can't believe it's been that long. It's been fun to watch her grow up into such a little lady. She is such a sweetheart and we sure love her!
