Tangled!

The other day, Tangled was on TV, and Dan decided to watch it. (Yes, Dan. Not me. I thought it was hilarious.) Hannah was instantly enthralled with the bright colors and pretty music, so I tried to get a picture of her watching it. As usual, though, she saw the camera and stopped what she was doing and just stared at me. I did, however, manage to capture a couple cute faces. And then, a few minutes later, during a very intense part of the movie, I managed to get what is possibly my favorite picture of Hannah and Dan to date. They both have the same expression on their faces. So funny. I love it.

Halloween, Part 2

Last night, we drove up to where we used to live and went to our old ward's Trunk or Treat. It was nice to see everyone again, especially since I was still pregnant when we moved and no one had met Hannah yet. It was also fun because Dan's brother Seth and his wife, Lacey, are in that ward with their two kids, Abby and Brigham and so we got to see them in their adorable costumes. We went out to dinner with Seth and the kids beforehand at a local pizza place. It was lots of fun even though it was a pretty cold night.

3 Months

Wow. I can't believe Hannah's 3 months old! Time flies! She is so much fun. In the last month, she has learned to laugh! Yay!! I love her laugh! It is so cute. She doesn't do it very often, but when she does, it makes my day. There was a night when she was having tummy time and rolled over! I put her back on her tummy to see if she'd do it again, and she did. It was awesome. Of course, I was the only person here and I didn't have my camera, so I'm the only one who's seen her do it. I've tried to get her to roll again, but she can't seem to remember how she did it and gets really mad. She still loves reading, and the monster book is still her favorite, but Dan has started reading her "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" and she loves it. She has definitely started teething and we've had some difficult days with that. She still sleeps through the night every night. She hates to lay back. She always wants to be sitting up or standing, and can often pull herself up into a sitting position on her own. Her personality gets bigger by the day. Daddy is still her favorite and she gets super excited every time he comes home. I can't wait to see how much she changes this next month. It's going to be fun!

Hot Tub!!!

Last week, I decided to take Hannah to her Grandparents' house to get in the hot tub. We got the temperature down so it was more of a bath temperature, and got in. My sister-in-law Natalie was there with their 3 girls and decided to come in with us. It was so much fun! All of the girls loved it. Hannah was so cute. I wanted to do this because she loves taking a bath so much. It's seriously her favorite thing ever. And I was not disappointed. She floated pretty much the whole time with me just holding her head, kicking and trying to swim. She got splashed a lot by her cousins but she didn't seem to mind. She did not want to get out, even though we had been in for about half an hour.

Halloween, Part 1

As I said, we went to the fall carnival at church tonight. We put Hannah in her Cinderella dress, and she looked beautiful! She was the bell of the ball and stood on the stage for a while, surveying her kingdom. She had fun walking around and staring at all of the new sights and being admired by everyone, but pretty soon her carriage turned into a pumpkin and she fell asleep. When we got home and she woke up, Dan changed her out of her dress. Oh, man! You would have thought the world ended! It sounded like he was torturing her! She did NOT want him to take her dress off. It was so funny. She was upset for about half an hour before she calmed down. Poor thing. We are planning to take her to the Trunk-or-Treat at our old ward up in Trophy Club next Saturday. So I'm sure she'll be happy to get to wear her dress again, but hopefully she won't be so traumatized by having to take it off at the end of the night. Hahaha. Once again, like mother like daughter I guess. I had a Snow White dress growing up that I literally wore to tatters.

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Hannah had a very eventful day today! Dan and I went to my in-laws to help with a couple of projects before we went to our ward's fall carnival. While we were there, Hannah got in the swing and tried out a rocking horse for the first time. She liked the swing, except for the sun being in her eyes. And she LOVED the horse. She sat on it all by herself! I was so amazed. She's crazy strong.

I love the look she's giving Dan in this picture. She's like, "why are you trying to help me, Daddy??"

Kissing Cousins

Yesterday Hannah and I were at my in-laws with two of her cousins, Abby and Brigham. Abby's 4 and Brigham's 2, and they have a little sister on the way, who should be making an appearance sometime in the beginning of January. They both love Hannah.  They are always curious about what she's doing and trying to help me with her. They're both excited about their new little sister, and I think they're using Hannah to practice. They were hilarious yesterday. Brigham wanted to hug her and kiss her ALL day long, and might have if we'd let him. She liked it at first, but after 5 or 10 minutes of being kissed all over, she was over it. There were a few times when Hannah was making noise, trying to talk to Brigham, but he didn't want to listen to it. He just kept shoving her pacifier in her mouth. Hahaha. She wasn't very impressed with that, since she was in the middle of telling him a very long story. Abby has always been very inquisitive and always asks me questions about Hannah. She asked my what Hannah eats, and when I told her she eats breastmilk, her face was priceless. It's so fun having all of our nieces and our one (so far) nephew live so close and to be able to see them grow up. I'm glad Hannah will grow up with them and hopefully they'll all continue to be close friends.
