We love Emily, Part 2

Another day this summer, we drove over to Dallas and spent a few hours at Emily's house with the whole family. It was especially fun because Emily had just gotten a new playground in her back yard, AND she had sidewalk chalk. The girls were in hog heaven!

We love Emily

One day a few months ago, my mom was babysitting my niece, Emily, and had Hannah with her. We decided to meet in the middle and go to the aquarium and to trade Hannah back to me. We had lots of fun! Emily was so cute and just wanted to run everywhere the entire time. And Clara was just getting old enough to be interested in some of the fish. But mostly, we just loved spending time with Emily!

Rainy day fun

Honestly, I had no idea it had been so long since I updated this thing! Jeez, time sure flies when you're having fun. It's been kind of a crazy summer. I still have lots of pictures to upload and such, but oh, well. Here are some pics from one of the few rainy days we had this summer.

Grandma's crazies

A few weeks ago, Dan's brother and his family came up for a visit from Houston, so of course, we threw a party. It was the usual madhouse over there, but the kids had fun. We're excited they're coming back just in time for summer. They're going to have a blast this summer!

Zoo time

We got to go to the zoo for the first time this year. Clara's still a little young for the zoo, but she's starting to be able to understand what she's seeing, so that was fun. The best thing for her was the flamingos because they were right by the fence so she could see them clearly. Hannah loves to ride the train and the carousel, so we had to do that, too. Clara loved both. She spent the whole time bouncing up and down with a huge smile on her face. It was a super fun day, and it will be a lot of fun to take Clara back and see how much she changes throughout the year.
