cute cousins

My mom recently went on vacation and brought back matching dresses for her 3 granddaughters. So while they were here for the Easter egg hunt, we dressed the girls up and took some pictures. Unfortunately Clara was sick, so it was difficult to get a good picture of her, in addition to it being almost impossible to get 3 girls under 3 to look at you at the same time. But I still managed to get a few cute ones.

Easter Egg Hunt

We invited the girls' cousins over for an Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was a lot of fun and the kids were very pleased with all the chocolate they got. It was Hannah's first ever Easter egg hunt, and she loved it.

 Clara, unfortunately, was sick that day, so she wasn't very interested in the eggs.

 Emily found the rocking horse, and thought it was the most exciting thing she'd ever done.

Sidewalk Chalk!!

I finally remembered to get some sidewalk chalk for Hannah. This is something I've been thinking about for a while because I know she loves to color and she loves to be outside. And I was right, she loved it. She doesn't quite get the concept of drawing things yet, but she will scribble or draw a line and say "This is Clara!" or whatever it is she thinks she's drawing. Just ignore my mismatched pajamas.

Water fun

Clara's finally big enough to play at the water table by herself. She totally loves it!. She basically spent the whole time dunking the little people in the water and dumping water on herself. Hannah played with it a little bit, but she mostly just wanted to run around in her diaper. Haha.

Clara's birthday

We didn't really do much for Clara's birthday. We just went to my in-laws for dinner and cake, and we gave Clara a cupcake to smash. Actually, as I recall, I had planned to make dinner at our house, but everything went wrong and we ended up there because they had food on hand. Hahaha. Oh well! It turned out fine in the end.

Dan's mom loves to give the kids chocolate. And she loves it even more when we don't want her to.  Hahaha.  So of course she gives it to them all the time. These pictures pretty much say it all.
