Trampoline fun

Hannah and Clara both love the trampoline at their grandparents' house. And they both love playing with their cousins. So this day was pretty much the best day ever. It was a bit on the cold side, as you can tell from the pictures, but they had fun anyway.

 Believe it or not, that was a happy face. Hahahaha.

Swim lessons

We put the girls in swim lessons back in January, thanks in LARGE part to my parents for helping us out. It started in January and next week is the final lesson. In some ways it has been difficult, because we are in the 12:00 class every Saturday. A lot of the time, Clara is super tired and ready for a nap by the time we get there, and then all she wants to do is snuggle and go to sleep. We've had some rough weeks with her. Hannah had a few rough weeks too, though not as many as Clara. She really didn't like it when we started taking her under the water, but she finally got to be okay with it, mostly by pretending she is a mermaid. The day these were taken, Clara was having a bad day and Hannah was having a good one. Overall, the girls have both enjoyed it a lot and have come a long way. We're ready for summer!

twisting knots

Hannah has a horrible habit (wow, that was a lot of h's) of twisting huge knots into her hair. It is a completely subconscious thing that she does, mostly when she watches TV. Most of the time I can get the knots out fairly easily given a little time and patience, but twice now it has been so bad that I have had to cut the knot out of her hair. It is super frustrating. Thankfully, she's usually really good about sitting still and letting me get them out.

tricycle

On one of the first nice days we had this spring, we decided to take Hannah outside and get her back on her tricycle. Trying to teach her how to pedal is like pulling teeth. So there was kind of a melt down, but it was still nice to get out into the nice weather.

Zoo day

While my dad and Steve were here for Christmas, we had some nice weather and so we were able to get out and go to the zoo. Overall it was a fun day, but I didn't get tons of pictures because Clara refused to stay in the stroller and just wanted to be carried the whole time. I wish I'd thought about taking my baby carrier..... Ugh. Oh well.
