Curious George

Hannah LOVES Curious George. Until recently, it was her favorite show. It's be dethroned by Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, but that's beside the point. She loves the show and she really loves to read books about George. So when we saw that our local children's museum was going to have a Curious George exhibit, we knew we had to go. I could tell it was going to be a little above her level, but I also knew she would like looking at everything and seeing her favorite characters. Both Grandmas really wanted to go with us, so we all packed in the van and went together.

The nice George- Hannah wouldn't go anywhere near the guy in the George suit.

Just chillin' with her best bud, George.

Clara on the other hand, loved this guy. Even though he's creepy.

After the George exhibit, where Hannah made out like a bandit with the books, we went to some of the other exhibits.

                                     Learning to ride a horse.

Classic.

PARK!!!!!

It's FINALLY nice out! Yay!!! I was really tired of 90+ temperatures. So we've been going to the park a lot lately. Both girls love it. Clara loves to swing. She will sit in the swing forever. Hannah also loves to swing. She's getting a lot braver with slides and ladders. She used to just be terrified, but one day there were a couple of big girls (like, 7 and 9, I think) who took her under their wing and taught her how to do everything, so now she thinks she's big stuff. Cutie. She also loves to ride her tricycle and is learning how to pedal herself.

Piggy back rides

Hannah LOVES to have Clara ride on her shoulders. She thinks it's hilarious. But I think she's a little confused. She asks me to "ride on Clara's shoulders," instead of the other way around, which always makes me laugh.

Sunday cuteness

Train ride

Hannah likes to watch the show "Dinosaur Train" on PBS, and we live near train tracks, so trains are a pretty constant part of our life. She talks about them all the time, and so I wanted to take her on a train ride to see if she'd like it. Luckily the Zoo has a short one, so we took her on it one day at the zoo. She was pretty scared at first because the engine was so loud, but once we started going she liked it.
