Grapevine Aquarium

On new year's day, we decided to take a drive up to the aquarium. It was the perfect day to go. There was hardly anyone there! In most of the rooms we were by ourselves, there were no groups and pretty much all of the kids were really young. It's a really small aquarium, but very well thought out and nice. Hannah had lots of fun running all over the place, pointing at all of the fish. It was such a fun way to spend the holiday.

New Year's Eve part 2

Hannah and Emery are so much alike sometimes. They always want the same stuff.

This is seriously my favorite picture of Brigham. Ever.

Horsey time!!

New Year's Eve Part 1- Uncle Curt

Hannah LOVES her Uncle Curt. Oh, man. She has stopped asking for him as much lately because she's now so obsessed with her new cousin, but for a while there she asked for him every day. Of course, like with my sister-in-law, I think this has something to do with the fact that he has the easiest name to say. On a side note, Hannah can say the names of all of her cousins, except the ones in Ireland. She says Abby, Izzy, and Ella perfectly while Brigham is "Abiggy", the Emilys are "Amiyee" and Emery is "Aminee." Anyway, for New Year's Eve we had all of Dan's family over for dinner. It was a crazy mad house, but it was fun. And Hannah did all she could to keep Curt's attention on her.

I love the look of pure joy on her face!

Emily's baptism

My newest niece is 3 months old already!! It's crazy how time flies. While my Dad was here for Christmas, my brother and sister-in-law had her baptized in the Catholic church. It was a great day filled with good food and company. I wish I'd gotten more pictures, but oh well.

Children's Museum

While my Dad and Steve were here, we took Hannah to the Fort Worth children's museum. I've only taken her once before, and it was before she learned to walk, so it was a whole new experience for us and I'm so glad we did it and that my Dad was able to come with us. Hannah is still too young for a lot of the exhibits, but there is a whole section devoted to toddlers and preschool aged kids, and she absolutely loved it. I can't wait to go back again!

There was a room filled with animals, which she really liked. Her favorite thing was this goat- probably because he was down on her level. Her reaction was pretty priceless. She was even brave enough to touch it, but don't tell anyone. I didn't know she wasn't supposed to. Oh well.
